Warrior Baseball Building Momentum
The Warrior baseball team packed a lot of action into the past week, facing tough competition while continuing to sharpen their game.
In a dominant district statement, the Warriors exploded offensively in a 24–0 win over Sabinal, showcasing power at the plate and discipline on the mound.

Warriors Bounce Back with Big Win Over Lanier
The Warriors picked up a dominant 21–0 win over Lanier, fueled by strong pitching and a balanced offensive attack.
The Warriors took control early, capitalizing on patience at the plate and defensive miscues to build a large first-inning lead and never looked back. Ingram added runs throughout the game, including a nine-run fifth inning that put the game out of reach.
Josh Collins earned the win on the mound, pitching five innings while allowing just one hit, striking out seven, and issuing no walks.
Offensively, the Warriors tallied 11 hits, with Daniel Gonzalez, Joe Zabala, Josh Collins, and Braedyn Syfert each collecting two hits. Gonzalez, Zabala, Beck Winfield, and Grayden Lewis each drove in two runs.
Ingram also showed patience at the plate with 12 walks and stayed aggressive on the bases, finishing the game with eight stolen bases.

The Ingram Warriors baseball team logged a busy stretch on the diamond recently, competing in the Blanco Tournament before returning home to deliver a dominant victory over Lanier. The Warriors showed resilience throughout the tournament against strong competition and followed it up with an explosive offensive performance to start the week.
The Warriors competed in the Blanco Tournament last week, facing a tough slate of opponents and showing flashes of strong offensive production throughout the weekend.
One of the standout performances came from Beck Winfield, who powered the Warriors’ offense with two home runs and three RBIs in a hard-fought 9–5 loss to Marion. Winfield also led the team at the plate in the game, helping Ingram out-hit Marion despite the final score.
The Warriors were also locked in a close battle with Jefferson, falling just short in a 9–7 contest. Ingram rallied to tie the game in the fourth inning behind hits from Cash Bryant and Grayden Lewis, but Jefferson answered late to regain the lead. Cohen Keith led the Warriors at the plate with two hits while the team showed patience offensively, drawing 10 walks in the game.
In another tight matchup, the Warriors jumped out to an early 5–0 lead against Somerset, highlighted by RBIs from Lewis, Winfield, and Daniel Gonzalez. Somerset responded with a big first inning and ultimately edged
Ingram 7–6. Gonzalez finished with three RBIs, while Winfield collected three hits in the game.The tournament concluded with an 8–3 loss to Falls City, where Tyler Langbein provided an early spark with an inside-the-park home run. Langbein, Winfield, and Joe Zabala each recorded multiple hits in the game.
Across the tournament, the Warriors continued to show offensive depth and resilience against strong competition, with several players contributing key hits and RBIs throughout the weekend.

The Warriors rolled past Crystal City 11-1 behind a big day from Grayden Lewis. Lewis drove in four runs, coming through early with a two-run single and adding a two-run double later in the game. ITM set the tone in the first inning, capitalizing on patience at the plate and timely hits to build an early lead, then pulled away with a five-run fourth inning.
On the mound, Tyler Langbein and Joe Zabala combined for a strong outing, limiting Crystal City to just one run. The Warriors were sharp defensively and aggressive on the bases, swiping multiple bags and keeping constant pressure on the Javelinas.

The matchup against Mason turned into an offensive shootout, with the Warriors narrowly falling 11-10 despite out-hitting the Punchers. ITM exploded for six runs in the second inning, highlighted by a grand slam from Cash Bryant. Later in the game, Zabala delivered another huge moment with a grand slam of his own to tie things up.
Mason answered late with a go-ahead run in the final inning, edging out the Warriors in a back-and-forth contest. Zabala led the offense with three hits and five RBIs, while several Warriors contributed multi-hit performances in a strong overall showing at the plate.

Ingram Moore built an early lead and maintained control throughout to defeat Bandera 7-3 in high school baseball action Tuesday, February 25. The Warriors scored consistently, posting runs in each of the first four innings to build a commanding advantage.
Senior Maverick Delgado starred on both sides of the diamond, going 2-for-3 with two RBIs at the plate while delivering a complete-game pitching performance. Delgado limited Bandera to just five hits and one earned run while striking out seven batters.
Freshman Collin Nesbit contributed a hit and two RBIs, while senior Peyton Middleton scored twice and collected a hit. The Warriors played clean defense, committing just two errors while turning in several key defensive plays. The team also showed aggressiveness on the basepaths, going a perfect 4-for-4 in stolen base attempts.

Ingram Moore overcame a five-run first-inning deficit to defeat Geneva 11-8 in high school baseball Tuesday night. After falling behind 5-0, the Warriors scored four runs in both the second and third innings to take control of the game.
Senior Myles Jordan led the offense with two hits, three RBIs and two doubles, while sophomore Logan Spalding went 2-for-3 with two RBIs. Senior Maverick Delgado pitched 3.2 scoreless, hitless innings to close out the game after freshman Collin Nesbit earned the win in relief.
The Warriors added insurance runs in the fourth and seventh innings to secure the victory, finishing with seven hits and six stolen bases in the comeback win.

Delgado, a senior, threw a complete game, allowing just one unearned run on four hits while striking out five over seven innings. His effort kept Crystal City’s offense in check.
Ingram Moore broke the scoreless tie in the fourth inning and added two more runs in the sixth. Aiden Rendon and Beck Winfield contributed key hits, with Rendon scoring a run and Winfield driving in one. Joe Zabala reached base in all three plate appearances, finishing with a perfect 1.000 on-base percentage.
Crystal City managed its lone run in the fifth inning but struggled to capitalize on opportunities, leaving multiple runners stranded.
Defensively, Ingram Moore committed only one error, with Rendon and Myles Jordan combining for six assists in the infield.

The Warriors’ explosive third inning, where they scored eight runs, sealed the win and improved their season record to 11-3.Senior pitcher Maverick Delgado led the charge with a dominant performance on the mound, tossing a complete-game shutout. Delgado allowed just one hit and struck out nine batters over five innings, maintaining a perfect 0.00 ERA for the game. At the plate, he also contributed with a .545 season batting average, though his bat was quiet in this contest.
Offensively, Ingram Moore capitalized on timely hitting and aggressive baserunning. Senior Aiden Rendon went 2-for-2 with a double, an RBI, and three stolen bases, while fellow senior Noah Collins drove in four runs with a 2-for-3 performance, including a double. Sophomore Beck Winfield added two hits, including a double, as the Warriors tallied eight hits and drew three walks.

Maverick Delgado (Sr.): The standout two-way player leads the team with a .545 batting average, 17 runs scored, and a 0.91 ERA as a pitcher. He has struck out 44 batters in 30.2 innings.
Aiden Rendon (Sr.): Hitting .467 with 16 runs, 10 RBIs, and a team-high 11 stolen bases.
Beck Winfield (So.): A reliable bat with a .314 average and 14 RBIs, tied for the team lead.

Jordan struck out 11 batters through six innings while allowing no runs on four hits, securing the Warriors' decisive district win.
Cohen Keith led the Ingram Moore offense, going 2-for-3 with two RBIs and a home run. The Warriors broke the game open in the second inning with four runs, then added three more in the fourth and sealed the victory with a four-run surge in the final inning.
Joe Zabala contributed three runs and an RBI while Beck Winfield went 1-for-2 with two runs scored. The Warriors' defense played error-free baseball behind Jordan's dominant pitching performance.
Brady failed to generate any offense against the Warriors' pitching staff, going scoreless in all seven innings and managing just four hits.

After Comfort took an early 2-1 lead in the first inning, the Warriors responded with four runs in the fourth to pull ahead 6-3. Both teams traded runs in the fifth and sixth innings before Comfort's late rally fell short.
Beck Winfield (2-for-3) and Tyler Langbein (2-for-4, 1 RBI) provided timely hitting for the Warriors. Despite committing two errors, Ingram Moore's defense turned a critical double play to help preserve the victory.
The Warriors improved their district record with the win and continue to show offensive production, generating 11 hits against Comfort pitching.

Maverick Delgado delivered a perfect night at the plate and the Ingram Tom Moore Warriors rolled to a 10-4 victory over Comfort in district baseball action Friday evening.
Delgado went 4-for-4 with a double, a home run, three RBIs and three runs scored to power the Warriors' offense. The senior standout continues his torrid season, raising his batting average to .533 with an impressive 1.401 OPS.
Myles Jordan earned the win on the mound, working six strong innings while allowing just two earned runs and striking out seven. The Warriors' defense played solid behind him, committing just two errors in the contest.
Ingram Tom Moore (14-3, 4-0 district at the time) showcased its offensive firepower with 12 hits. Tyler Langbein contributed two hits and an RBI, while Noah Collins added two hits. Joe Zabala scored twice, and Cohen Keith and Beck Winfield each drove in a run.
The Warriors continued their strong play in District 5-3A, where they've now established themselves as the team to beat. Their balanced attack of pitching, defense and timely hitting has them positioned for a potential deep playoff run as the regular season enters its final stretch.

Maverick Delgado pitched a complete game and the Ingram Tom Moore Warriors erupted for four runs in the sixth inning to defeat Llano 5-1 in district baseball action Monday night.
The Warriors (15-3, 5-0 district) remained perfect in District 5-3A play behind Delgado's masterful pitching performance. The senior right-hander allowed just two hits and one unearned run while striking out 10 batters over seven innings.
Delgado, now 7-1 on the season with a 1.43 ERA, has been a force on the mound all year. In 44 innings pitched, he's struck out 63 batters while walking just seven. Monday's performance lowered his opponents' batting average to a minuscule .169.
Tied 1-1 entering the bottom of the sixth, Ingram's offense finally broke through. Tyler Langbein provided the spark with a two-run double, helping the Warriors plate four runs in the decisive inning.
Langbein finished 1-for-2 with two RBIs and a walk, while Aiden Rendon went 1-for-1 with a run scored and three walks. Beck Winfield contributed a hit, and Logan Spalding added a hit in two at-bats.
The game started with both teams scoring a run in the first inning before pitching dominated the middle frames. Delgado retired Llano in order in the seventh to secure the win.
The Warriors, ranked 367th in Texas, continue to strengthen their position atop the district standings with the victory. They've now won 15 of 18 games this season and remain undefeated in district play.

LLANO, Texas — Ingram Moore erupted for eight runs in the final two innings to secure a dominant 13-1 victory over Llano in varsity baseball action Friday night.
Junior pitcher Tyler Langbein tossed a complete game, allowing just one unearned run on four hits while striking out five. Langbein (1-0) didn't walk a batter until the fifth inning and faced only 26 batters in seven innings of work.
After a scoreless opening two frames, the Warriors broke through with two runs in the third inning and steadily built their lead before blowing the game open with a five-run sixth inning.
Senior Myles Jordan led the Warriors' offensive attack with a perfect 2-for-2 performance, driving in two runs and scoring three. Sophomore Logan Spalding went 2-for-3 with four RBIs including a double, while senior Maverick Delgado contributed a 2-for-3 night with two RBIs and three runs scored.
The Warriors showed discipline at the plate, drawing nine walks while striking out only five times. They also displayed aggression on the basepaths, successfully stealing all five bases they attempted.
Llano struggled offensively, managing just two hits against Langbein's dominant pitching. Senior Logan Van Pelt provided both hits for Llano, going 2-for-3 with the team's lone RBI.
Ingram Moore's defense committed two errors but turned in several key plays, with the team recording a .933 fielding percentage overall.

Sophomore Logan Spalding delivered a standout performance, going 2-for-2 with three RBIs and a triple, posting a perfect 1.000 on-base percentage and adding a stolen base.

Maverick Delgado pitched a no-hitter as Ingram Tom Moore defeated Florence 3-0 Thursday night to improve to 8-0 in district play.
Delgado struck out nine batters while facing just 24 hitters in seven innings. The senior right-hander didn't issue a single walk in his masterful performance, which included his first career no-hitter and shutout.
Ingram Tom Moore scored all three runs in the middle innings, tallying two in the fourth and adding an insurance run in the fifth. Beck Winfield led the Warriors offensively, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and an RBI. Joe Zabala and Delgado each contributed an RBI for Ingram Moore.
Florence's Weston Underwood pitched well in defeat, striking out seven batters over six innings while allowing just three hits. All three runs against him were unearned as Florence committed three errors.
The Warriors collected only four hits but capitalized on Florence's defensive miscues. Florence batters struck out nine times and failed to advance a runner past first base against Delgado's dominant pitching.
The victory keeps Ingram Moore perfect in district competition heading into the final stretch of regular season play.
