The Warrior tennis team earned a commanding 10–1 victory over New Braunfels Long Creek. Doubles play started strong at 6–1, while singles matches proved even more dominant. The highlight of the day came in mixed doubles, as Isael Arreola and Emily DeLuca rallied to capture a thrilling comeback win in a super tie-breaker.
“It was great to get the win, but we need to be more consistent in doubles. Our singles players were very impressive, and Isael and Emily showed incredible fight in their comeback win,” said Head Coach Chris Moralez.

“Our players are making huge strides with every match,” said Head Coach Chris Moralez. “We know the road ahead won’t be easy with Fredericksburg, Wimberley, and Davenport on deck, but this group is hungry, and they’re ready for the challenge.”
With confidence building and the postseason locked in, the Warriors will now turn their focus to those crucial district battles that will help shape playoff seeding.

Warrior Tennis Secures Playoff Spot, Eyes Showdown with Top-Ranked Wimberley
The Ingram Warrior tennis team has officially locked in their spot in the postseason, continuing a season of grit and growth on the courts.
After a decisive 10–3 win over Canyon Lake earlier in district play, the Warriors secured their playoff berth. The team fell to Davenport, but battled strong in every match.
Head Coach Chris Moralez praised the development of his younger players:
“Our underclassmen are stepping up in a big way this season," said Moralez. "Preston Davis and Kieran Phillips have shown impressive improvement in both doubles and singles. Even when the score doesn’t go our way, we’re seeing growth—and that gives us confidence heading into matchups with top teams like Wimberley.”
The Warriors now turn their focus to a marquee matchup against #1-ranked Wimberley on Wednesday, a test that will serve as a springboard into the playoffs and a chance to measure themselves against the very best in 4A.
