DISTRICT PLAY

Lady Warriors Open District in Dominant Fashion
The Lady Warriors wasted no time making a statement in district play, rolling past Blanco 17-2 in just four innings on Friday the 13th.
It was a complete team effort from start to finish, with the offense coming alive early and never letting up. The Warriors set the tone at the plate and backed it up with solid defense to secure the run-rule victory and open district on a high note.
With momentum already building, the Lady Warriors faced Blanco again last night on the road, looking to carry that energy forward and continue what promises to be an exciting district run.

Lady Warriors Walk It Off
The Lady Warriors delivered one of the most exciting finishes of the season.
Trailing 4-3 with two outs in the bottom of the seventh against Brady, Ingram found its moment. Kylie Traub drove a two-run double down the right field line, scoring McKenna McClintock and Jaycee Crawley to secure a 5-4 walk-off victory.
It was a complete team effort from start to finish.
McClintock and Kaylynn Way helped set the tone early with RBI hits, while Way added a second run-driving hit later in the game to keep Ingram within reach. When Brady briefly reclaimed the lead in the final inning, the Lady Warriors responded with composure.
Traub not only delivered the game-winning hit, but also dominated in the circle—striking out nine over seven innings while allowing just four hits. All four runs allowed were unearned.
Offensively, contributions came from throughout the lineup, with multiple players reaching base and creating opportunities.
Head coach Rick Ragsdale emphasized the importance of winning games like this as the postseason nears.
“You want to be in close games and learn how to win them,” he said. “That experience matters this time of year.”
