Mrs. Melissa DeMasco
My name is Melissa DeMasco, and I am brand new to Ingram Independent School District. I grew up in Kerrville, so this is such a sweet homecoming for me. I graduated from Tivy High school in 1999. I then went on to Texas Tech University where I received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. I also played a little volleyball up there as well. I continued my studies at the post-graduate level at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio. I received my Master's of Physical Therapy at UT Health In 2008. I worked 4 years in the field as an Orthopedic Physical Therapist before I entered into education in 2012. I discovered that I had a passion for both the medical field and education, and I am honored to get to work in both disciplines.
On a personal note, I have been married to my husband Tate for 17 years. He has the privilege of being the Athletic Director here at Ingram. We have two children, Ava who is 11 years old and Ty who is 7 years old. Outside of school , we are usually attending sporting events at Ingram or working with our own two children in their prospective sports. It is a privilege to teach your students, and I couldn' be happier to be here.
