Hello! My name is April Blalock and this is my second year at ITM. I have previously been an 8th grade ELA teacher in the San Antonio area. My husband and I moved back to the hill country with our 2 children and are loving living in a small town again. I am an ITM alumni and I am very honored to return as a teacher to a school that I am proud of. I became an ELA teacher because I love reading, have a passion for students, and I have always remembered the teacher's I had and how they changed my life. I hope to show students that regardless of their background or circumstances they can achieve any goal that they have.
