Hello, 

I am Karen McGuff.  This year I will be teaching Geometry, Algebra 2 and proctoring online classes.  Also, I will be coaching UIL math events: Number Sense, Mathematics and Calculator Applications.

I graduated from Bethel College in St. Paul, Minnesota with a BA in Mathematics Secondary Education then received my MA in Education from Schreiner University.  I have been teaching or tutoring for two-thirds of my life. My focus is on students and their success.

My students will be challenged to think! Each student will be expected to collaborate and communicate by speaking and writing about the topics covered in class.  Students will also be encouraged to discuss their life goals and how the course applies to those goals.

Tutoring Availability:

Every morning: 7:15 am - 7:45 am

Wednesday after school: 4:10 pm - 4:45 pm

Students may request additional time.
